la·gniappe
(pronounced LAN-yap)

When the old folks sent them to the store for various items, they'd tack on the directive, "and bring lagniappe," which my Aintee explained was "A lil bit of this, a lil bit of that - somethin' extra from the seller for free." So that's what I bring here - my unsolicited thoughts, fascinations, amusements, and convictions. Given freely and hoping for growth and clarity for myself and readers in our exchange.
